GENERAL QUESTIONS
What is BClick?(top)
BClick
is an advertising network which matches advertisers with sponsors.
Sponsors are paid between $.05 and $.18 for every
click they send to an advertiser. Most sites qualify for a
middle-ground payout amount, but we want to have options for even the
smallest site owner.
How
much does it cost to join BClick?(top)
Membership is free. We pay you for clicks
you send our advertisers.
What type
of sites are eligible to join?(top)
We accept all kinds of sites. Applicants
are judged using our
quality guidelines.
How
much do I get paid per click?(top)
Members are paid between $.05 and $.18 per
click, according to our sliding payout scale.
Can
I host multiple banners on my website?(top)
Yes, we provide an automated way for hosts to
generate HTML to host multiple banners.
When
do I get paid for the clicks I've generated?(top)
Checks are sent out on the
tenth of the month for the previous month's earnings, provided a host has greater than $20.00 in their accounts.
Will the
banners affect the bandwidth used by my site?(top)
No. The banners are hosted on our
high-speed servers. We pay for all of the bandwidth used by the banners.
What if
I want to place banners on more than one website?(top)
No problem. However, please E-mail us for approval first. We'll need
to update your host records so that your account is not deactivated for hosting banners on
non-approved websites. When you log into your account you will be
able to find the proper email to submit these requests to.
APPLICATION QUESTIONS
If I sign up with BClick,
can I still host banners for other networks?(top)
Of course! Your page is just that - your page.
We do not require hosts to use our network exclusively, but we sure would appreciate it if
you did. :)
Can I be sponsored if
I am not from the United States?(top)
Yes, we accept hosts from all around the globe. All
checks are sent in US currency. Check with your local bank about cashing and
converting checks to your local currency.
What are my
chances of being accepted by BClick?(top)
If your site meets our
quality guidelines, you stand an excellent chance
of being accepted into the network. However, sub-standard sites which apply will be
rejected.
CODE INSTALLATION QUESTIONS
Can I click on my banner to
see that it works?(top)
You are permitted to click on your banner two times to verify
that it is rotating and working correctly. After that, we ask that you do not click
on your banner. We closely monitor our clickthrough logs and will remove hosts which
repeatedly click on their own banners.
Can I change the
BClick HTML code in any way?(top)
Hosts are not permitted to alter the BClick code in any way,
except for purposes of placement. (i.e. - setting target tags for frames)
Can I use frames with
the BClick HTML code?(top)
You are welcome to use a frames layout on your site.
However, the BClick HTML code must clear any frames when a visitor clicks on a banner.
Can I spawn
another browser window when someone clicks on my banner?(top)
No. Anyone clicking on a banner must be directed to the
advertiser's site in the main viewing window. The host's site may not remain open in
the background.
Can I host more
than one rotating banner?(top)
Yes, we provide an automated way for hosts to generate HTML
to host multiple
banners. Just log into your account area and click 'Generate HTML'.
Can I host more
than one BClick banner on one page?(top)
You are permitted to host up to three banners from any
network on any single web page.
What if I want to
use my BClick HTML code for other sites?(top)
No problem. However, please E-mail us for approval first. You can contact us through the Publishers area. We'll need to
update your host records so that your account is not accidentally deactivated for hosting
banners on unapproved websites.
PAYMENT QUESTIONS
How do I find out how much you owe me?(top)
Hosts can easily
estimate how much they are owed (both click
and referral commissions) by logging into their account. Detailed impression and
click through statistics are provided in real-time. Note that actual
payout rates and click counts are audited and finalized at the time of
payout.
Are all clicks on
my banner paid?(top)
You will only receive credit for unique visitors. A
unique visitor is defined as one click per IP address per day.
What is the minimum
amount you will send a check for?(top)
Checks are sent for a minimum of $20. If you would like
to increase your check amount threshold, you can do so by E-mailing us
through the Publishers area.
Are balances 'rolled
over' from month to month?(top)
Yes. If you are not paid in one month, the balance of
your account is carried over to the next month. This continues until you have
accumulated $20 in your account. At that point, you are paid for all clicks.
When are payouts
done?(top)
Payouts are calculated on the first of each month.
Checks are mailed around the 10th of each month for the previous month's earnings.
When should my check
reach me?(top)
Checks are sent first class US postal from New
York, United States. International checks are sent via air-mail. For delivery
times, check with the US Postal Service.
What currency do you
send checks in?(top)
All checks are sent in US dollars.
Is there any reason why
I may not be paid?(top)
Hosts which are found in violation of our
Terms of Service agreement may be denied their earnings at the
discretion of the BClick staff. Please make sure you comply with the TOS to insure
you will receive your earnings.
REFERRAL PROGRAM QUESTIONS
Do I have to be a BClick member to
refer hosts?(top)
Yes. In order to be eligible to receive referral
commissions, you must also be a member in good standing.
How do I refer host
sites?(top)
Log into your site and click "Referral Program
Statistics". There you can obtain the HTML you'll need to use to link to our
site. Any visitors clicking on that link who sign up to be host sites will generate
referral revenue for you.
How much am I paid
for referring hosts?(top)
You are initially paid $5.00 for every host you refer.
In addition, you are paid $.01 for every click a referred host generates, for as long as
you and the host are active.
Do you have any
graphics I can use to link to you?(top)
Yes. You can download the graphics by logging into your
account and clicking "Referral Program Statistics" from the function menu.
What if a
referred host's account is cancelled?(top)
The revenue you receive for a referred host's click activity
is tied to your account. If the referred host's account is cancelled for any reason
(such as a TOS violation), you will lose the revenue from that site. However, the
revenue you have accumulated from other referred hosts will remain intact.
When am I paid my
referral commission?(top)
You are paid your referral commission at the same time as
your normal payout, provided that you are a member in good standing and your combined
balance owed (click revenue + referral revenue) is greater than $20.00.
